GROWTH STRATEGY FOR DISTRICT SET FOR PUBLIC DEBATE

Subject to approval by the Environment Committee, Stroud District Council will conduct consultation from late October through public exhibitions, town and parish council meetings, direct communication with stakeholders including the public and individual groups. More details will follow later this month.

Talk on the Archaeology found at Chestnut Park

The archaeologist responsible for the dig will be delivering the talk. It will take place at 7.30 pm at Kingswood Village hall on Monday 17th September 2018 .

Conclusion of External Audit 2016/17

The external audit is now complete with no issues raised by the auditor. Please see the accounts page for more details

The parish council has two Facebook pages,  Kingswood Parish Council and Kingswood Neighbourhood Plan. This  enables us to communicate and keep you up to date as things happen. Please take a look and like our page.

Wild About Kingswood

Volunteers need to help with this project. Please contact the clerk if you are interested in helping. Help is needed in designing the information boards and in planting hedges and wild flowers and bulbs in the area to make them attractive to wildlife and also the community. A picnic bench and seat has been place in the community area next to the shed and a bench on the verge at Tyndale view.

Richard from Stroud Valleys project is at the Chestnut Park site every Monday from 11.00 am. Please go along and say hello and if you have time join in learn how to manage the land.

Council Tax 2018/19

Local Council Tax and Budgets – The parish council has  set the amount of Local council tax to for Kingswood in the year 2018/19 to  £91.089 .
